the saints are worse on the road and the hawks are better at home so i will be surprised if the saints win this one.

however, with the players gone in the seahawks secondary, can brees take advantage and make it interesting?

I think the Saints take this one. With the suspensions in the secondary for Seattle I think it will take them a week or two to really adjust to missing those guys giving the Saints first crack at taking advantage. Obviously the 12th man makes life hell for anybody coming in especially for big games but just gut feeling I think the Saints take this one. I still think Seattle wins home field in the playoffs as I see the Saints losing at least one more with 2 games left against Carolina but in this one the Saints take it.

Just for the record, Browner wouldn't have played in this game even if he hadn't been suspended. He'd be out for several weeks with an injury anyway.

They have won without him but I don't know if I would say it is not a significant drop off. Browner and Thurmond are both very talented players. Now do I think the Seahawks can rise above these two being gone and still win this game...Of course I do. It is a home game and they still have a formidable defense even without those two and an offense that especially at home will give about every team in the league fits. For me picking the Saints honestly is just a gut decision not based on anything of match ups just a feeling.

I think this will be a good game with Seattle winning. But I'm looking at it from the perspective of what is better for the Panthers. A Saints loss puts both teams at 9-3 and we play on Sunday. So this could put Carolina in position to take the outright lead in the NFCS. A Seattle loss (combined with a Panthers win on Sunday) puts Carolina in the fight for the #1 spot in the NFC playoffs. Of course, Seattle would have to lose 2 more games for the Panthers to get that spot, which I don't see happening.
