Ice up, son! Smith is one of my favorite dudes in the league and made Talib look like a mental midget last night

Hard not to root for Smith. I've always enjoyed his game, except that one time back around '08 when he faced a hobbled Champ.

“I don't know," Smith said. "You gonna ask him, because he didn't finish the game. Ice up, son. Ice up!"

Talib had it coming -> did you see that play where he wouldn't let go of Smitty's leg, after the whistle. Pretty clear he'd gotten his ass owned, and was trying to hurt the guy. Though that still wasn't as dirty as the Pats OLman who leg-whipped Charles Johnson after getting his ass beat off the line. I don't know if Hernandez was watching, but he must have been real proud of his boys, lol.

Did they win? Then he's earned the right to talk trash. It's not only catches, Talib gave up 2 huge penalties while guarding Smith

You can't just look at the stats that Smith put up and say he only had a mediocre game against Talib. Talib had two penalties that extended drives that lead to a touchdown and a field goal. Now could the Panthers have scored those points without the penalites...Maybe but it definitely did not help in stopping them for sure.

We didn't deserve that win. The fact that we allowed it to even be close was embarrassing.

All Smith does is talk. Dude is awesome, but he is also an assclown.

I was watching Sound FX on NFL network the other day...the episode was Jay Cutler. (no tangents, please) and he was talking to the backup QB on the sideline about Smith. He said when he was in Denver, they were playing in Carolina, and he and Brandon Marshall cam out early to warm up, get some throws in...he says Smith was running THROUGH their routes, while yelling, THIS IS MY FUCKING HOUSE!!!! LOL.....what a tard.

He'll be braindead by 45.

I have also noticed that Smith seems to talk a lot of trash. Personally, I've always felt that my attitude about a guy talking trash depends quite a bit on whether he plays for the team that I root for, though I realize that that is hypocritical.

When I was a kid, Tom Jackson was the first player who I ever noticed as a big time trash talker. TJ also backed it up on the field. Like Smith, #57 was kind of undersized, and watching him play just fired me up.

:agree:

Just let your play on the field do the talking. Perfect example from Sunday night; Flowers makes a big play, he starts jumping up and down, celebrating, throwing his arms up, etc. Couple plays later, Welker makes a big catch, hops up and looks to see if he got the first down.

Of course you agree, but not everyone is the shining beacon of virtue that you are!
