What a great day it's turning out to be. If the Cowboys can take down the Saints then I'll call it perfect. All the crap we've gotten about stumbling to victory. Now some of these idiots will appreciate the cliche "a win's a win" really does hold a lot of weight.

He's not a good QB right now. Teams figured out these option offenses and he doesn't have anything to fall back on. Wilson wasn't a read option qb to begin with so going away from it was no big deal at all (we were never very deep into it to begin with). He fell in love with himself and now he's getting humbled.

The meltdown is at its boiling point there right now. if you think it was bad when they lost to us and then the Colts... they're in meltdown mode right now. Absolutely loving it.

You have to be strong mentality as well. Kaep has shown that he is soft and the Panthers destroyed him today and now he's gotta think about this lost for a long time. It was truly a pitiful performance by a QB.

Unlike 'the sky is falling' 9'er fans I think some of us can be real about Kaepernick. He is a good quarterback when he has protection and has receivers getting separation. He is also fairly dangerous when flushed out of the pocket if the defense doesn't account for him to prevent him from running with it.

This notion that he is garbage is laughable and really funny to read from their own fans. The only teams that have beaten them also have some of the best defenses in the league. The 49'ers are still going to beat a lot of quality teams and Kaepernick will get chunks of yards in them.

Still this is another example of how much he needs to grow as a pro if he is ever going to be considered elite.

I don't get that. They have one of the the best run defenses in the league. JH apparently thought that they could exert their will on the Panthers. They needed to beat them through the air and apparently Harb doesn't have much faith in their passing game right now.

LOVE the outcome of the Panthers-Niners game, but I'm glad that I didn't watch it. Watching the Panthers cling to a one point lead for the last 10:05 of the game would have made me very anxious.

I read that Frank Gore lead the league in yards before contact last year, which shows that the 49ers line is VERY good at run blocking.

I kept an eye on the gamecast for the entire 4th quarter since the game wasn't being shown here. For some reason, the timeouts and the normal breaks in the action didn't seem to take as long on the gamecast as they do on a TV broadcast. It was weird.

I watched the 4th quarter and nothing happened that got me real anxious about the 9ers winning the game. The Panthers got an absolute strangle hold on the 9ers offense. It seems like on every play, Kaep was either scrambling or was on his back, the only time that got real nervous was the 2 fumbles by the panthers near the end of the 4th quarter.

It was a great defensive game on both sides.
