OP, the Cavs are very young and talented but their hugest issue is the competence of the owner/GM.

Nobody has proven in the NBA that top draft picks mean nothing if you are an idiot like Dan Gilbert.

He had LBJ for 7 years and his best move was putting 72 year old Shaq next to him.

Everybody he drafted is injury prone. Bennett is a nightmare. They took him 7 spots too high and most people did not know he had sleep apnea, asthma and enjoys staying out late. If they were smart they leak that info and draft anybody else and trade for him and another high draft pick.

If you are open to being band wagon for fucks sake do not choose to root for incompetence!!!

@OP for teams: Clippers, Rockets, Warriors.

The Thunder are a pretty cool team though, young and always developing which is good and bad. Their GM refuses to spend enough to win it all.

Pacers are sick, not a super young team but their back court is young and they are a very blue collar team anybody can get behind.

I have a very best idea for you however. Stop rooting for teams that are occasionally competent and criminally disloyal to anything but money. Root for players you want to succeed or you enjoy watching. I root for LBJ, Durant, and even love Garnett for his attitude. I love the GSW because their back court is so much fun to watch. Do not forget Harden.

Melo is pretty popular but on my short list of avoid at all costs. He is a lot of fun to watch but never going to win it all because he can not play team ball and either refuses or does not know how to play D.

In the end my message is just watch what you enjoy watching and root for what makes you happy. If you like scoring follow guards, if you like D follow Centers and big Forwards.

Other than curry I've always liked monta ALot he's the reason I started watching the nba! Haren I really really like

I do not have the info that they have but they knew about Bennett's health and responsibility issues and drafted him anyways. They are fucking morons. And not to dodge the question I would have traded my pick and had that option failed I would have drafted somebody i knew would be around for a few years, not somebody with all the issues he has. Not a Lakers or Heat fan. I never liked the Lakers and I am sick of the Heat. I am actually leaning towards the Warriors, because of Harrison Barnes. Like I said, I have always liked him and thought he was smart to go to UNC.

I don't think he would have been good for Iowa or Iowa State. I don't think he had any intention of graduating college, and with ISU and Iowa rebuilding, they needed someone to be loyal to them. UNC could just go out and get another top recruit, Iowa and ISU couldn't.
