what if the Rams lay another egg and gets punked by the Jags on Sunday? can we expect mass firings on Monday?
Arsenal football club is a completely different situation. Success requires money and Kroenke doesn't have it. He's done a good job at Arsenal. They've been a decent team without incurring massive losses.

No it won't be me..![]()
Kronke, 76th richest dude in the US and No. 84 Forbes 400.Arsenal football club is a completely different situation. Success requires money and Kroenke doesn't have it. He's done a good job at Arsenal. They've been a decent team without incurring massive losses.
Kroenke is obscenely wealthy, but he's not European football obscenely wealthy. You'd have to look at the financial position of clubs such as Manchester City, Chelsea, and Real Madrid to comprehend what sort of 'biggest dick' contest those people are in. The Saudi Royal Family have burned over $1.2B in 5 years at City. That's a B not an M. There are maybe 40 people on the planet who can play that game.Kroenke has money. He was wealthy before he married into the Walton family.
By that standard:D coordinator should get fired on the spot. Jags shouldnt score 14 points on anyone
My standard was on the assumption that the Rams would lose. Id be ok with 38-14 or even 17-14 because there might be some prevent stuff in there and playing to win the game isnt the same as playing to run up the scoreboard.By that standard:
24 pts ~ Mike Nolan -Atlanta DC (Nolan's has been an HC or DC since 2002)
24 pts ~ Todd Bowles -Arizona DC (Bowles' has been a DC for 4 games)
14 pts ~ Tim Walton -St Louis Rams (Walton's has been a DC for 4 games)
Under this scenario, even if the Rams win something like 38-14, you say all of those dudes up there should get fired on the spot, right?
Bowles & Walton both have minimal tenure, 4 games as a pro. So that's pulling the cord awful early!
Harsh but what then?
Defense by committee, right?
I wouldn't fire him, it's only been 4 games and he wasn't bad in the first two looking at points against compared to last years season average points against.
If things don't get better or if the defense gives it up to these Jags, I would reduce his role demote him to an Assistant DC. I would then announce this change and a year end evaluation of Walton. I would close by stating we will take a defense by committee approach once again and will do so for the remainder of the year.
1. Why fire a guy 4 games into his career as a DC anyway?Jeez Vita. Firing Walton would not lead to an automatic defense by committee. Just pick up the phone and hire Lovie Smith and then fire Walton. Enough said.
Not in my book, because laying an egg to me means scoring ZERO, you know cause it looks like an egg.The Rams could lay an egg against the Jags and still win
