Texan fans.

I wanted to take a minute to give props to the Texan fans from yesterday's game. I was fortunate enough to fly in from Seattle for the game. I attended a great tail gate party with about 25 other Seahawk fans wearing our colors right in the middle of about 10,000 Texan fans.

Everyone was totally cool and I made some instant friends at nearby TG parties. Heck, a hispanic family was right next door so I mosied over to BS with them a bit. After the game I went over to shake hands and the next thing I know, the Mrs. is feeding me full of home made tamales and quesadia's(sp). Awesome people. Not just them but I interacted with about 50 Texan fans and of couse passed by about 2 or 3 thousand going into and out of Reliant. Every one was hospitable and friendly.

Also, the stadium rocked. We Seahawk fans know a loud stadium when we hear one and that house was a rocking.

Thank you to all Texan fans. I am now a fan of your team and those that root for The Texans.

No, I didn't see any jersey's burning, but many of their fans were complaining about Schaub before the game started. I did not know that MS had recently gotten an extension (according to those I spoke with) and they were upset over that. Looking at how the game unfurled, their angst is pointed in an understanding location. Most of them were talking about how much they liked our team (Seattle) and wish they had something going like we do.
I don't know if you visit many games as an opposing fan, but I have never been treated so well, even after our victory.
