Dynasty Trade. T-Rich for DT?

12 team standard scoring. Trade offered to me.

I send: T-Rich and White
I get: DT and Wilson.

RB: T-Rich, Lacey, Gio, Ridley, Lattimore(ir) Franklin, Ballard(ir)
WR: White. Steve Johnson, Dobson, Rice, Royal.

1st yr league, went RB early, as you can see with My WR...lol

I also think T-Rich for DT is fair, not sure I want to give up White too for Wilson, who we are not even sure if he is going to see the field. I feel he is trying to trade Wilson cause he has the name....Was also thinking DT and Austin(stl) would be better for me also.

IMO, T-Rich is >>> Wilson, and DT is > White. When White gets his legs back, you will lose this deal, for this year. It's possible Wilson breaks out and becomes relevant, but I think you'd look back at this deal and regret it.

I think it's just a matter of time that he becomes a legit top 15 standard RB and top 10 PPR RB. The only thing BJGE had going for him was ball security, and even that went away last week. I see no reason Gio shouldn't be getting 18-23 touches a game soon. I know it's gonna sound like sour grapes coming from a Browns fan, but I'm not sold on T-Rich being everything he's been cracked up to be going forward. He showed some great potential in Cleveland, but he also was really mundane a lot of times. 3.5 career YPC and I think he only had something like 3 carries over 15 yards total. Granted, that Indy offense sure loves running the ball, and you don't give up a 1st rounder for a committee RB, but you may be better off dealing him than Gio long-term.

The more I thought about it, I will stay put. The kid even wants Trent for Tavon Austin....I mean come on man!! He should have took the deal when I was not thinking clear, and he wants it now..LOL.

He told me to name his other player. I have dealt with him in the past. He does not want to give up anyone. His first offer was T-Rich and Lattimore for Wilson, Robert Woods and Turbin....LOL!!!! I doubt he would give DT also. I just hate unloading 2 RB for Murray and someone else.

That first offer is ridiculously lopsided... wow. Doesn't sound like you're gonna get a lot of traction with this fella.

I would take the original trade without much hesitation, but that's mostly because I think TRich is overblown and in a dynasty league Wilson is just as good. DT is obviously a huge step up over Roddy in a dynasty league.

Reasons I think TRich is overblown: his fantasy numbers last year came from quantity, not quality. Being on a passing team will limit his chances and probably his effectiveness (look what happened even to AP when Minny went more pass-oriented with Favre - his YPC plummeted), and his effectiveness wasn't very good in the first place: he just got more than a reasonable share of goal-line opportunities. And a team gave him up for significantly less than what they got him for. I think TRich right now is at the highest point he'll ever be, and Wilson is at the lowest.

I hear ya. I am not in favor of losing Gio, but the fact he is willing to give me Murray, is not as bad. Maybe T-Rich, Lattimore and White for DT, Austin and Murray. He has been after Lattimore for some time, and who knows when or if he will be back.

TRich is way more valuable than DT. The first deal was one that I would have taken. Not this one.
