Ton of football to go. They mean nothing now. But fun debate.

Winston does not need to be anywhere near that list this year. I am afraid people will keep hyping him if he keeps having the outings he has had as far as efficiency.

As far as right now if I had to choose a player for a team. It would definitely be AJ McCarron. I know not as athletic as the other players, but he has been there and done that. Intelligent as hell too.

There's also heisman pundit which has it a little different;

Heisman Pundit

1. Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M — 20 (6)
2. Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon — 16 (2)
3. (tie) AJ McCarron, QB, Alabama — 5 (1)
Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson — 5
5. Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville — 4
6. Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA — 3 (1)
7. (tie) Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia — 2
Paul Richardson, WR, Colorado — 2
9. (tie) Duke Johnson, RB, Miami — 1
Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State — 1
Chuckie Keeton, QB, Utah State — 1

Hate to say it FSUmanager but Jameis is just tearing it up. He's caught their attention!!!

I really like Bridgewater to win it all, *If* he win's out and in a more convincing fashion than last weeks game.

But yeah, there's a lot of football to be played yet and a lot of stiff competition this year.

Sure he does mind it that bad:yahoo:

Brother you have no idea how badly I do not want him as a RS Frosh to be in the mix. FSU has had enough crap with QBs having Heisman campaigns. The instant it starts they go to shit. I would rather see a NC than him with a Heisman this year or next year.

Keep the efficiency up and playing smart football is all I want out of him. Nothing more. If he gets an award that is fine, but our luck has absolutely sucked with Heisman campaigns.

Mamba Don't use any garbage website unless it's Heisman pundit they've accurately picked every winner the last seven years.

Of course the Heisman is not near as important as winning football games.

But this kid seems from an outsider's perspective like nothing will bother him.

You have a special human being who happens to be an unbelievable QB.

That's how I see it.

ummmmm no they haven't.

In week 3 pundit didn't have the last 3 close to the top....

Newton, RG3, or Manziel.

That is just not true sir.

And like I said, this is just for convo.

So you are saying at the beginning of the year they had Manziel, RG3, and Newton? :bullshit:

I am not getting what you are saying when you say they have picked the last 7 winners...

Going into NY? Of course, who hasn't when they announce the NY finalists. Everyone knows at that point.

Not getting the play into him quick enough pisses him off. He has yelled at Jimbo Fisher twice for it taking too long to get the play into him. He does not get rattled in the pocket yet, but our competition has not been the greatest. I want to see what he does in Death Valley on October 19th before declaring anything about him.

Here is his interview after the Pitt game. I hope to god this attitude never changes. If it doesn't he will be a great QB.

Brax has barely played. Guiton should replace him.

You missed Gurley in OP lol.

Mariota definitely has my vote right now, kid has been outstanding.

Though I still think Manziel is the best player in CFB

And I have no idea how Miller still has a first place vote..

No way JFF gets it. Not unless he puts up 600 total yards a game and A&M slips through to win the title. Never happen.

If Bama wins another title, McCarron has to get it. If you QB 3 BCS titles and and don't get the Heisman then something is wrong.

^^This. Braxton belongs on no Heisman list. He is going to have to play out of his mind for the remainder of the year without being hurt just to have a prayer at going to NY.

Cough....Melvin Gordon....cough

^^Overwhelmingly this. Far and away the most impressive RB thusfar in college football.

UW Bishop Sankey is playing super go0d through 2 games. Most yards per game in the country through UW's 2 games.

:tsk: Shame on me for this post.

I thought the most impressive player in the Bama/A&M game was Evans and it was not close. Really surprised that nobody has put him on the watch list.
