 @ The Steelers?

Given the pic to left of your posts, at least for you, I think that the answer is an emphatic "no".

I didn't watch the game too closely last night, but the Steelers really didn't look as bad as I thought they might. Looked like their defense was still pretty good, but they couldn't run the ball and Ben and the WRs looked uncharacteristically out of sync on a few plays. At least the o-line was able to give him some protection and he is always able to buy some extra time, so I think that they could get better and the AFCN still looks pretty wide opened.

The are bad the game would have been much worse if Dalton was a good QB, i bet he over threw the ball 15 times last night. Plus the defense isn't that good against thee run. Steelers are in trouble this year and it starts upfront for them on both sides of the ball.

For a bad a their line is supposed to be, I thought they played pretty well. They really need one of their running backs to step up though.

Kind of funny to see a Ravens fan laughing at another franchise after the beating they took week one and then week two almost losing to the Browns! I agree the Steelers are in a bit of trouble this year as every franchise goes through some down times and it looks like that for them this year. I will say though that Cincinnati looks like the class of the AFC North. Yes Dalton looked as bad as I have seen him in his short career last night but they had a nice run game, good defense, and Dalton still made enough plays to win the game.

It's kind of funny to see a Broncos fan stick up for a Steelers team. What's even more funny is a Bronco fan talking up a week one win against a team that punked them in the play offs last season.

Nope plenty intelligent...I understand the rivalry just thought I would throw some gasoline on the fire and remind Ravens fans they haven't looked too pretty yet either.

The Ravens got blindsided by that freak of a TE the Broncos have. Won't happen when the two teams meet again.

Would you really bet against them? Harbaugh, Flacco and Rice and no clue what it's like to not make the playoffs.

I think you can only LOL if you thought this Steelers team was going to be better than 8-8...then you should LOL at yourself.

Also a Ravens fan should really hold in their laughter for at least this year...probably next year as well as you just handicapped your team giving $120m to a game manager.

I wouldn't bet against the Ravens making the playoffs, but I certainly haven't seen anything from them this year that would make me bet on them making it either. The Steelers fell to 0-2 for the first time since Tomlin has been there, so basing the future solely on the past isn't always reliable

Seems like a bargain considering the Lions just gave $76m to a QB that hasn't accomplished shit...even with the best WR on the planet.

Harbaugh and Rice I would not bet against (although Rice going down like he did looked bad on Sunday) but Flacco I would bet against everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. The guy is a middle of the pack guy that had a great 4 game stretch that got him $100 million. Not too bad of a pay day if I do say so myself. Look what he has done in these first two games against what most would consider mediocre defenses (Broncos were missing their top 2 defensive players). Yes I understand he is learning with a lot of new receivers but he has just looked bad pretty bland. He has done that almost all of his career.

Now having said that with the down year we are seeing in the AFC for some teams 9-7 and maybe even 8-8 could make the Wild Card so I would not count the Ravens out at this point. They have a good defense, good coach, and should have a decent run game if Rice is actually healthy. Teams have made it to the playoffs with less.

I think the part about not getting too confident is probably good advice to Ravens fans. As far as Flacco's contract, I don't know whether that was the right move, but I think that he has played well enough in big games enough that he doesn't deserve the "game manager" label. Still, it remains to be seen whether he has enough help this year to get back to the postseason.

wait a Lions fan talking shit....oh that's good considering they haven't won shit ever, and their the worst franchise in NFL history....if it wasn't for Barry Sander the Lions would have faded from memory.

Flacco's contract is a bad move because it limits how good of player you can put around him. No QB can do it on his own, not Brady not Montans, not Unitas, not even Peyton Manning so when you give a guy a contract like that it's going to hurt just how bad is TBD. Ravens have done a good job at replacing the taltent they lost it's just a matter of getting the chemistry down.
