So is David Wilson a buy low guy now? Hoping Denver's run D can play as well as they did last week and WIlson can at least hold on to the ball. If those two things happen (and maybe a Brandon Jacobs snipe at the goal line) he could come pretty cheap................

If you have a deeeeeeep bench, Vareen might be a good candidate too, but you might be able to pick him off the wire in a few weeks and as good as he looked, coupled with the cluster going on in that backfield he might be worth a stash. With that said, Ridley owners could be scared into doing something stupid too and if he is cheap enough why not? Here's to the J E T S stopping Ridley like they did Martin!

C.J. Spiller is another guy to keep an eye on.........

I know these guys came at a high price tag in later drafts but why not take advantage if you can? Especially in leagues where you know which of the owners tend to panic. In my money league the Spiller owner will panic after week 3 if he sucks.

Should be able to get Big Ben if you need a bye week fill in for pretty cheap. He's still a FA in my 10 man :pound:

At this point you can probably add Roddy White to the list.

Those are pretty good call outs..............I like Big Ben but he isn't on any of the wires in my leagues................yet. But since you mentioned it there are serviceable QB's on the wire in 2 or my leagues. I didn't draft a back up in my work league, woke up last week and checked and there was Eli on the wire................I now have a backup! Cost me Hartline though but hell, Eli could even spot start for me in a pinch.

Jesus, I have Big Ben and David Wilson on my bench. I really botched my fantasy team but Im not giving up on either for at least a couple of weeks.

I would say if you have them on your bench you team should be fairly decent..............in my money league draft Wilson went in the 2nd round! So no, I wouldn't give up on them I'm just hoping somebody else does..........

I'm ok. I went Doug Martin/Steven Jackson/Wilson in a 10 man snake draft. I just ran into someone that had Peyton and Demaryius Thomas

apparently Phillip Rivers is only owned in 18 percent of NFL.com leagues. I find that a bit unbelievable.

Lamar Miller can be had pretty cheap right now.

For the cost the risk is low as he should end up as the better back in Miami.

I am trying to help panicking owners in a couple of leagues of mine by taking MJD off their hands.

I doubt Roethlisberger makes it past week 6 this year.

I'm holding Wilson. I think he can bounce back. I'm just not playing him this week or maybe next either.

If I had Spiller, I'd consider selling. Fred Jackson looked very good. I know Marrone spoke highly of Spiller, but he also wants to run the ball effectively. So I think that situation becomes more of a time share than most Spiller fans hoped for. I think he's probably dipping down to a quality RB2 now instead of a breakout RB1. So if you can find a guy that thinks he's still a 1 and get a solid trade, it's worth doing. At the very least, pick Jackson as a good flex option

I think that's gonna change soon. If his OL holds up, anyway.

One thing I noticed about him during drafts is that he has a pretty good schedule for a QB

Buy low on Gio Bernard. Bengals inexplicably didn't use him against Chicago (BJGE has tenure apparently) but the kid is electric. Stash him on your bench till he gets more pt which should be very soon.

I tried to get him. I offered a very good trade (spiller + MJD for Charles + Wilson). Not accepted. The owner asked if we could see how Wilson did this week and if he didn't do well then he'd take the trade. I told him that kind of defeats the purpose of the timing of the offer. It's a gamble.

I just picked up Kendall Hunter. Gore carried 21 times for 44 yards (2.1 ypc) vs the Pack. Pack allowed 118+ rush yards per game in 2012. Maybe I'm over thinking it since it's only 1 game?

RE: Bernard - he's gone in most leagues. He had a couple of nice runs in the Chicago game that were nullified by penalties.

Gore makes me nervous. He's a pick i'd like to do over.

He's gone in my league. He was drafted pretty high (3rd round). I'm trying to trade for him. Offered Amendola for Bernard (my WR's are in decent shape).

Rivers has killed me in year's past and he did it again in week one. That late pick 6 cost me the win in two games (Houston DST). I am not so sure 18% ownership isn't about right. I know I won't be bumping up that percentage any time soon!!!

That's right, I forgot about that pick.
