The scariest part of this thread is that it was about LAST WEEKS game. Eerily enough, it also somewhat applies today...

Again...he's doing this while we are down by 30.

Can he be a good pocket passer...sure.

Is that what makes him special...NO.

He should be running the read option at least twice/game.

Rodney Harrison made a good pt about this tonight. Like it or not & whether RG3 agrees - it is tough to play exactly the same right away after recovering from that type of injury. It is not that he has not fully recovered or isn't as fast. It is a matter of quite often being aware of the problem & being at least somewhat tentative. Don't know whether this is the case, but it is certainly possible. You also cannot expect him - or anyone - to come back just like AP & it is quite different for a QB.

Harrison said that he had a similar injury & it took him the better part of a year to not have this mindset (& he was one of the toughest players in the NFL). It is at least something to consider.

I agree that they need RG3 to be more mobile & not strictly be a pocket passer. However - like it or not - it may take a little time. Again - I think that offense will come around & be fine. The defense? No comment & they need the defense to at least be graded as a "D" instead of their current "F".

Hopefully - this won't be the case for the upcoming games. Who knows? Save for the Raiders game - their upcoming opponents for the next month or so have very good passing games & some of the best receivers in the league. The defense will at least have to rise to the level of mediocre or RG3 & co will need to come out firing starting in the first QTR.

Sadly - both of these may not occur in some upcoming games. Let's hope not.

It's still early and I remain cautiously optimistic about the season. There is still plenty of time to turn this around but it needs to start happening now.

Not having any offensive TDs in TWO first halves is pretty damn sad tho. It can not happen again. TDs late in the game are fools gold Unless you're tying or winning the game.
