Red Sox At Sinstripes Series, Starting September 5, 2013

Tonight's scheduled starters are Jake Peavy (0.958 season WHIP, 1.173 career) and Ivan Nova (1.262 season WHIP,
1.374 career).

We start the series with an 8 game lead on the Sinstripes.

Oakland, Texas and Tampa Bay are ahead of them in the Wild Card hunt, while Baltimore, Cleveland and Kansas City
are bunched up within 3 games of them in said hunt. I wish we could mathematically eliminate NY with a sweep, but we can come close.

Wouldn't it be nice to see the Sinstripes fire managers as often as they did in the early years of the Steinbrenner era? Going through 3 in a year a few times, and not for health reasons?

This might be my pro-Boston bias speaking, but I think it's possible.

Has Cano ever played at short or 3d? I really don't know.
