Or another way to look at it is he is hoping MarkOU isn't a bright fella...........but we all know different. I'd still make a stupid counter back just to let him know how dumb that offer was.

I guess that could be the case, too. I just normally see the horrible trade participants usually tend to be on the trader and not the tradee in my experience, mostly because they are ignorant to the intricacies of the game.

Honestly, i dont think it as bad of a trade as all you making it out to be... Given i would never make the trade if i had richardson and would jump on it if i had fitz... But if i had great RB depth, and needed a WR, i might think about making an offer like this... But then again i am never afraid of overpaying for players i want...

So if you have great RB depth, then you have a second, maybe even a third RB that is more in line with Fitz's value, surely you'd offer one of those up before ever considering dealing your #1 though right?

I did not factor in the fact that this is a preseason trade... as a preseason trade it is insulting because it is equivalent to saying i will trade my third or fourth round pick for your first... But when the season starts and fitz plays as well as we all expect him too, he will be more of a 2nd rounder value... and if i have a team that needs a WR, i might be willing to overpay for him to guarantee i can get him and i can get him now... If richardson is what it takes i might have to do it(given that i dont make RB a weakness now)...
