Some time last year, I saw where these people were having a "Celebration of Life" for a guy who had died the year before. He had driven drunk, killed himself and a 16-year old girl who was in another car.

Their idea of a "Celebration of Life" was to go to the exact same bar he had gotten drunk in the night he died and get drunk just like he did and then drive home just like he did.

People like this make me wonder how it is that humans have become the dominant species.

It's ridiculous. Luckily for us, a local news crew happened to be at the same intersection the wreck happened. They said the dude got out of his car, stepped over my sis in-laws body and took off running. One of the news guys actually chased him down, caught him and held him til the police got there. She was Salutatorian in HS and had so much ahead of her. Senseless.
