I deleted the other 500 words I wrote explaining basketball, because I broke it all down last year on the cbs threads when you and a few others thought SU was done going into the dance with 9 losses. Here you are again complaining about a very good team that is banged up.

Read my original post in the 2013/2014 SU BBall thread. I broke this season down back in April of 2013.

This is a very good SU team. I'll say it again....Enjoy it.

Well obviously you havent read all my posts as well when I said this team is capable of winning it all and who says Im not enjoying it? I post numbers that are facts and there offense at this time is pathetic. No way around it. Its the truth and it will have to be better to win it all.

Alright everyone is now healthy except for Coleman who is slow and still overweight with no vertical whatsoever. Injuries are the same excuse that I heard from Broncos fans and thats what they are just excuses. As long as Fair, Ennis, Cooney, Rak, and Grant are playing this team shouldt struggle to score.

Syracuse basketball team attempts to put BC loss aside and focus on Duke | syracuse.com

NOTE -- Cooney and C.J. Fair were each nursing nose injuries after Wednesday's loss. The bridge of Cooney's nose was swollen and discolored. Gauze filled Fair's right nostril.

Cooney said he sustained a whack across his nose in the second half. Fair said he caught an elbow from Jerami Grant when Grant attempted to block a B.C. player's shot.

You may have heard that Keita only played 2 minutes. And you may have heard Coleman is out for the season.

Obviously you cant read post above where I said Coleman is out for the year. Keita was suited up and played if he wasnt healthy enough shouldnt have played 2 minutes at all. Jonvi you are better then this using injuries as an excuse for the loss to a great B.C. team.

Losing Colman is a very big loss. He was able to give 15 very good minutes of excellent inside play. You are missing that big man who doesn't get shoved around. Getting Keita back will be a big help. Ennis and Cooney are not able to carry the guard load for a long tough game and the Syracuse bench is a little light. Right now I'm seeing some issues at the guard position and it might be because those two are worn out. Could be just a little rough patch; we will know more on Saturday.

Nose injuries really. Amazing the reason why the Cuse loss to B.C. is nose injuries. Jonvi you are better then this.

jonvi, I used to hear these arguments all the time with other Duke fans. "Is it better to lose 7, 8, 9 games and develop a bench so to make a deep run in the Tourney and get better for next season, or would you rather lose just a couple games regular season but lose early in the Tourney because someone gets hurt or in foul trouble against the wrong opponent because you only have a seven player rotation?". Enjoy the season. It beats the alternative.

These are college kids playing at an extremely high level. Not only is SU physically beat up, they are mentally beat up as well. Every game SU plays this year, they are getting record crowds and a ton of press. The hype is just over the top. VP Biden called Ennis the other day....
What else is great is that group of players on SU....they are really nice guys....and I have to read a post that breaks em down further. It's like a wreck...you have to read it knowing you're not liking it.

These are college kids playing at an extremely high level. Not only is SU physically beat up, they are mentally beat up as well. Every game SU plays this year, they are getting record crowds and a ton of press. The hype is just over the top. VP Biden called Ennis the other day....

Already beat up mentally and physically and they still havent gotten to the tough part of there schedule. Damn you underestimate this team more then I do because I wouldnt go that far because Im not for excuses. Record crowds and tons of press are pressures of playing at Syracuse. Kids need to learn to deal with it then because the games will get bigger. It is what it is. You are still better then this Jonvi. Keep telling yourself that for a minute or two then you will feel better trust me. Have a great night!! Go Cuse!!

yeah, I went a little overboard on that one....still think losing those 10,15 min of strng inside play plus the additional fouls to give are important.

I think nosedive is a harsh word. SU's getting an education in ACC ball though. This was really a two point game when CJ was given the charge with 10 seconds left so I thought SU was in it up until the end.

Coach JB had a coming out the jacket moment and they are going to be motivated against Maryland. And come March Madness, SU will be an unlucky draw for 6 teams.

This is what I was going to say. Coleman was a big body for fouls and certainly has potential, but to say a have seen anything showing us that potential would be realized this year is far fetched.
