That beatdown we got by Tennessee before conference play started lit a fire under these guys. We were almost 11-0 but Rasheed Sulaimon couldn't stop hitting 3's against us when we played Duke and thus lost by four.

I think we have Cuse Sunday. It could possibly be one of the ugliest losses in our history. And we have had some bad ones against Duke and UNC.

I think we have Cuse Sunday. It could possibly be one of the ugliest losses in our history. And we have had some bad ones against Duke and UNC.

SU's been off a week, there will be some rust to work through. Clemson is 4th in the ACC at the moment. I don't see this as a blowout. It won't surprised me to see Clemson up late.

I won't need style points to be happy in this one. Just win and move on.

Looks to me like the ACC traditional teams are now playing the type of ball that was expected. Duke, IMO, is now the best team in the country along with Syracuse and North Carolina is moving up. Should be a wild ACC tournament.

I wish I had your confidence. Duke is playing better. The second half against Boston College was played much better than the first half. They still must beat uNC Wednesday at Chapel Hill. They can ill afford another conference loss. Running Suilamon at the PG position has brought about a better offense as of late for Duke. We'll see if it can be sustained. Still a lot of basketball to be played.

Beating NC at Chapel Hill is an uphill battle and Duke losing there is not the kiss of death. That said, I don't think Duke will lose. Reason is Parker, Hood, Dawkins,Jefferson Suilamon and Cook are all excellent players and great shooters. Paige and McAdoo can't guard them all. In addition North Carolina does not have a huge front court as does Syracuse and Plumlee will be more effective. Interested in watching Syracuse's Keita, Grant, and Christmas eat Plumlee's lunch. I did not expect them to push him around like that. At any rate, IMO, North Carolina is not that big inside and Plumlee will have a better day. This is a big deal and Duke will show up ready to play so we won't see a repeat of that 1st half BC performance. North Carolina has had their fun and it ends Wednesday night. Looking forward to watching another battle and think it will be an exercise of great players playing great.

douggie, read an interesting stat today that I don't know if true or not, but, Carolina has not won an opening series at home with duke since 1998. Pretty amazing given the parody in the two teams over that span.

Cuse beat us 57-44. Not near as bad as I thought. Once again, we can't break 50. Just a terrible shooting team. I mean terrible.
