I have been incredibly proud of this team during this streak but not more so than tonight when Greinke hurls a gem against the Cardinals. What is more impressive is as he has been struggling on the road lately he comes out determined to do his thing and was amazing!!!!! Lets go get 16 tomorrow with Kershaw and go Dodgers!

So important to take the 1st game of this Series. The Cardinals have been scoring runs in bunches lately, so it's pretty impressive that the Dodgers pitchers held them in check. This is what championship type teams do.

It was interesting to see Puig getting on Gonzalez for not scoring when he (Puig) hit a ball to the gap that would probably have been a triple if Gonzalez hadn't stopped at 3B. Puig is certainly fired up when he plays. He just has a lot to learn, and he will as he gets more experience.

Dodgers now 6 up on the Diamondbacks. 32-7 of late. Simply remarkable.

Yes it has been a great run as of late and Puig is learning as he goes along! He should know that Adrian was not going to score on that as he is the slowest player on the team. Im sure they will work out any miscommunication on that and the bigger picture is we won. We need today and tomorrow with our aces going and i would love 1 out of 2 of the other games against STL.

Greinke was phenomenal tonight and it was great to see him overcome some of his road woes. I hope he can carry this into his next start!

I hope so but that is why we play the game! I would think we have the advantage in the matchup with Kelly vs. Kershaw but we will see... Go Dodgers!

Great big win. Going in to face a hot team with their Ace on the mound with Kemp and Hanley out. Odds to win 15 straight on the road in that game is iffy. But Greinke pitched a gem. But Hanley's replacement was a difference maker too. Punto turned in some game saving defensive plays. Dodgers are playing well defensively. Pitching/glove. Dodgers got to start scoring more runs. They got the guys to do it.

Right besa, and Greinke is almost a legit DH the way he is swinging the bat.

I will post something crazy but who would not mind seeing Greinke pinch hit occasionallly? He hits better than Hairston and is hitting over .400 on the season. You can tell Greinke used to be a shortstop in how he fields and rakes at the plate and I love his swing.

I would seriously use him as a pinch hitter regularly

Any team would take 15 in a row on the Road or at Home. It was a remarkable accomplishment. Sorry to see it end, but we can't expect the Dodgers to win every game. They still have an excellent chance to end up taking 3 of 4, or at least a split against a very good Cardinals team.

Hopefully Hanley will be back when the team goes home and the winning ways continue. I still think the Dodgers could upgrade the BP, even though since the end of June they've done a pretty nice job.

The first place to start is to DFA Carlos Marmol? Why is this guy still around?:lame:

Silas I agree with Marmol. We need to dfa him and I get League is making too much to dfa but he needs to be used in blowouts. Don will end up using Marmol in a bad situation...

Which is why Marmol needs to go. Assuming Wilson pitches well, the Dodgers really only need one more RP to round out the relief corps.

If they can limit him to 1 pitch per outing, the damage may be limited lol.

Brandon League however, not so good last night.

Can you really say you trust Marmol if he is thrown out there? I have more faith in League than Marmol and that is not saying much lol. If Brian Wilson pans out and does well then I hope we dfa Marmol.

I think Brian Wilson will be the best of the three personally.
