How many Cowboys fans still blame Romo for being snapped a slippery ball in Seattle? Sadly a lot of them do, because they cannot see anything past the end of their nose.

Problem is, a lot of Cowboys fans know about as much about football as a lot of Yankees fans know about baseball, which isn't much

Truth, and with the re-emergence of the Rangers, I am seeing similar things happen with some Rangers fans. Rangers fans are no longer just us life long diehards. We have a lot of new blood around now. Not saying that's anyone here, but it's been the case on other blogs.

I hear ya. I remember the days when we knew all we had to look forward to was home runs. Our hitters hitting a ton of them and our pitchers giving up a ton of them. I never pictured us as a playoff contender and I was OK with that. I will admit though, a few playoff runs things change a little and we certainly have absorbed a ton of converted Cowboys fans. I'd still be a fan if we went back to that sort of team but man, I sure hope that doesn't happen anytime soon.

It's funny that the Rangers by far have the biggest fan base on this site. I started this thread this morning and its now the most popular board on whole the site. I guess a lot of that credit should go to Romeo for all the recruiting on ESPN.

To be fair, its been like that for a while now, maybe not the MOST popular, but certainly top 3, the recent influx has certainly helped though

I think the point of contention is that many don't see it as a choke, as b/c of the way he was previously positioned, he really never had a chance at the ball

He played the ball wrong the moment it was off the bat and it had nothing to do with position.

I watched Frank Howard take batting practice at old Ranger Stadium, but course you weren't talking about anyone in particular. Success breads bandwagon and it's been that way as long as I've watched sports
