I don't want him to not play CB, However he played WR in college and if we do have some injuries there, I am just wondering having him in on some offensive series would be a good idea or not. Deion Sanders did it pretty well. It's just a thought, nothing I am willing to argue or fight about with anyone.

so long as its sparingly, I don't see any problem with it. Just throw him out there for a decoy on running plays even would be fun to see

He's way too valuable to us on defense to risk getting injured on an offensive play. We have the injury with Harvin now, but it's not like we're depleted at the wr position. We are very deep with Rice, Tate, Baldwin, Harper.

Playing both offense and defense is going to wear a player down, so I don't see the Seahawks doing this move. It's an interest idea however.

He was a good WR in college and it was kind of a big deal when he went down injured. It was obviously a blessing in disguise for him because he's going to get paid way more than he ever would have if he were bouncing around the league as a slot receiver for a few years.

Deion didn't do it that well and even he had, Sherman is no Deion.

^^^This. As I recall, Deion got gang tackled by the Panthers, and had his ass knocked out of the divisional playoff in '97.

As the other team, wouldn't you just take a big cheap shot anytime you could and knock him out of the game? Certainly a possibility, and one we don't need to deal with.

We're not desperate enough to start using our All-Pro DBs as WRs

Agreed. Once Carroll and Bevell unleashed Wilson last year, the offense did fine and that was without Harvin. It'll be fine again this year until Harvin is good to go. First and foremost the offensive will still be led by Marshawn. That's not gonna change even when Harvin is healthy.
