Shark getting a breather and Frenchy gets his first start. BB9 resting against a lefty and GQ behind the dish. Also, Stamos getting a much needed day.

Pork those porking porkers....6-2 good guys.

Almost looks like a hangover lineup. With 4 days off (except for Posey, Bum, Scoots and Romo, of course), I do not see much point in resting guys today.

Lefty Stults opposing us today. Craw sits vs. lefty. Belt sits vs. lefty. Blanco sits vs. lefty. Good time to get Frenchy in there, give Posey a mental break from last night and Craw is well, Bochy's own doing.

Every time I see a ball hit out there to center right field in Petco (like on Torres' triple) I always think who's the genius that put a play area for children in the same spot where homeruns might land...?

Leadoff triple followed by a single to score a run with the first two batters. Who ARE these guys in grey, and where have they hidden our beloved Giants?

One run, two hits, 21 pitches. All we need now is a SDI.

Which is absolutely stupid in Belt's case. He hits lefties better than he does RHP. Higher AVG, more power.

So can we skip some Zito starts or pull him early so he doesn't get to 200 IP then we can let him go?

This is the 94th game of the season, so 68 games are left. 68/5= 13.6, say 14 (which should prob be 13 because he won't get a 14th start). Zito is at 101 IP before today, so he'd need 99/14 = 7 IP per start to get to 200. And that's IF he doesn't have a melt-down or three in the 2nd half (unlikely) or that the Giants don't call up some pitching in Sep who get some starts or get a chance to show what they can do in long relief.

All they have to do is pull him a few times to pinch hit for him after he's pitched 5 or 6 and has given up 3 or 4 runs. Heck, if he doesn't get the 14th start we're golden.

I still hate the 7M buyout but if it gets out of 11M Zito I will do it
