Im from NJ so Yankees and Devils is an wasy one. 49ers- My father was a Big 49ers fan but more then that his fav player was Joe Montana so I became a fan of the 49ers and he showed me video of Joe Montana on ND and became a ND fan ever since. Bulls fan well i started watching basketball alot when MJ was playing and I loved how the Bulls did their Intro before each game. I became a UNC fan because MJ was my Fav player. Hence UNC fan in basketball.

I'm new here as well and NO I do not hate Steve Young. He's actually my favorite QB of all time...even though I like Montana a lot too.

Hate's a pretty strong word. I don't hate football players as people. I may not be a big fan of their abilities on the field. That hardly translates to hatred. I don't hate Steve Young, just preferred Montana by a lot. I don't hate Alex Smith either, I'm just glad that we have Kaepernick. I hope that clears the air and I don't have to hear the "hater" stuff again. I don't care how "de rigueur" the expression may be.
