For whatever it's worth, my deep and undying hatred of Chicago has now made me the biggest Bruins fan you'll ever see. I just carved a mural of Bobby Orr into my chest with a razor knife.

I assume he picked the Bruins? If so don't worry because if the Hawks win the first game he will change his pick to them and the Bruins would only be down one game to none. They still would have a chance for a split in Chicago if they win game two and take the home ice advantage.

I wouldn't worry about anything Melrose say's.

Bracing for all the analysis of the times they have faced each other in the playoffs / finals despite the fact that the only player alive the last time it happened is Jagr.

Hawks in six.

Bruins did a great job making Crosby a non factor. Malkin also. But going be tough sledding with Kane scoring 4 in the last two (one was Bickell actually in game 4) on a great goalie Quick.

Rask has the advantage over Crawford , but taking the Hawks in 7.

I like the Bruins 6. Someone needs to shutdown Kane in this series. I just think the size and depth of the Bruins will be a slight difference in this series. Just want a good series and everyone healthy.

I am happy with either team winning (players on both squads I like {and a few I don't like}.. both teams got a local PGH guy as well, and I never disliked Jags (his number should be in the rafters in PGH I feel)... so here's to some good hockey. And evenly called... however they want to call, just be consistent. Good luck to both teams.

I'm not making a prediction I just want the Hawks to come out and play their asses off for this series. If they do that I'll be happy.

First Original Six final since 1979 (Rags vs. Habs)

I like that barring another realignment the Hawks will be involved in every original 6 final from now on.

This will be a great series can't wait to watch it. Have no rooting interest in either team but both teams played a great Conference finals to get here after amazing comebacks in the series prior.

Either team winning will be fine and hate to make a prediction but Hawks in 7, winner in OT.
