Love Stratton, but he's 2.5 years away.

Blach, Blackburn, Escobar, Crick, Marlowe, Mejia all 2 years out

Flores, Stratton, Agosta a half season behind them as it stands now.

Things can, and often do, change though.

There is one Giants draftee who is about ready...but he's with the Mets now

How about that catcher? What's his name? :noidea: Went to one of the Oregon schools. Bay Area kid.

As much as I disliked the lack of hitting, I really really really really dislike our lack of pitching!

What's worse: being down 2-0 and feeling like there is little chance we get any runs?

Or being down 4-1 and with a decent chance our hitters make a game of it at some point?

I guess I'm like you: offensive ineptitude is far less annoying than crappy pitching. And our pitching has been mighty crappy.

What's more annoying? Getting gored by a Rhino, or getting stomped on by a hippo?

So based off last year. Brown didn't play well at all, really struggled and he goes to AAA the next year. This year in AAA he is even worse....so he should be in the bigs by July 31st?

In Richmond, Panik is hitting .292, with 30 walks and 18 K's in 192 AB's. .385 OBP

A tough league for hitters.

He was a good pick. Right now, it looks like Brown might be a wasted pick.

Wonder when he gets promoted, although I guess if we were to send Noonan down (unlikely) that would be a problem
