Counting on the weirdness of baseball to make that lineup with that starting pitcher = a W vs the team that just thumped us twice with our real lineup.

"He said in certain cases it's been three months, but we really don't have a timetable," Halladay said of Yocum's prognosis. "I think the timetable is going to come once they go in and confirm that, hey, what we saw on the X-rays is exactly what we saw when we went in there. They were definitely optimistic that I would be back this year."

Agreed. He's 36 next week. Over 2700 career innings. I admire him, and his words now, but, c'mon.

On the other hand, ya gotta admire Mariano Rivera - 43 years old to rehab like he did, and now he has 11 saves already, second in the AL, with a 2.19 ERA. His was a knee injury, but still - amazing. He is a hugely admirable person, on and off the field.
