I grew up with one not far away so we ate there several times a year at least. I guess part of the point is they haven't changed a single thing they do since they opened in the early 50's. None of these jumbo burgers made from frozen patties that are shipped from the Midwest. Just pure fresh never frozen all beef American classic burgers. Frozen fries? No way. They cut the spuds on site and fry them up right then. You can taste the difference and if not, your taste buds have been destroyed by all the artificial fillers and garbage McDonalds puts in their nasty ass food.

That's probably the case. I can taste the difference but personally I'd rather eat at Red Robin. Best burgers and fries IMO, hands down.

Nothing wrong with Red Robin. Just a different experience. They are up scale while Dick's is true fast food. I can walk up on lunch and be out with a bag of Dick's in seconds. RR takes a full half hour to be served. All good with me if you aren't into it. Just makes that line all that much shorter.

It's ok. You probably didn't notice that most of the people working there were serving your burger wearing ass-less chaps behind the register. Good thing you like the regular cheeseburgers... You DON'T want to know what they put in the special sauce for the deluxe up there.

BTW, broadway runs all across capital hill and that entire district is known as the gay and struggling artist section of town. I wouldn't take your kids up there at night. Not the kind of education you probably want for them.
