Scherzer vs. Kluber tonight, and Verlander vs. Ubaldo tomorrow. Both Indians starters with ERAs over 5.00, but neither Scherzer nor Verlander has looked great lately. A lot of eyes will be on JV tomorrow night after the control problems he exhibited in his last two starts.

It'd be great to see both of our guys have solid starts against the hottest team in baseball. But right now, I'll be happy if they can both go six, regardless of the score. JVs pitched in many a pressure situation, but I can't think of a time in his career when there have been more nervous rumblings about him. Could be the monster contract that hyped up expectations to nothing but excellence, idk. But he could use a good outing for himself about as much as the ball club could.

What's going on with Detroit this year? I kinda expected that with the team you guys have, that you'd kinda be walking away with the Central again this year. Maybe a little competition from Cleveland.

Why do people think teams are going to run away with the diviion in may and june? The tigers have a winning record.....they usually get better as the weather does. Pretty hard to run away when another team has won 18 of 22.

I like the response to my JV is mediocre i got......just wanted to make sure i proved someones full of shit.

At least iffy has ONE friend on here.....i guess spartan never seen him trolling the sparty boards either. Theres a difference between arguing/debating and just flat out stalking. Whenever or wherever i seen muzzer post on cbs, iffy would be on the same topic board within 5 mins....thats creepy.

Let me try what others have told me......igg the creepy troll. He needs attention....so i will try my best to ignore the old creepy man. Well at least he can talk diamondbacks with spartan. Or give spartan daily updates on inge, raturd, and boesch.

Easy there Cleaves, I just stopped by to say hi, not trying to troll. I didn't say run away with it early on. Just a simple what's happening with the Tigers so far, and maybe spark up a conversation with folks on the Tigers board.

Looks like rain for Detroit game. I know it sounds negative...but postponing a game with Clev might not be a bad idea right now. They are rolling and the Tigers are cold. (Besides the Tigers have a pitcher who is pretty mediocre right now, going on Wednesday.)

Jrs i wasnt accusing you of trolling......you asked a question ALOT of fans ask.....the tigers usually start out slow.....their record is not all that bad. Also the tigers have already completed their west coast trip and a 4 game series in texas. Wait til the dog days of summer hit and the tigers play the sox, twins, royals, and injuns.....thats where the division will be won.

Cleveland has a tough stretch coming up.
