Fuck that stupid rule right up the arse. Refs are gonna get to pick and choose who gets ejected now. How the hell will they know if it's intentional or not? They won't!

This might cause a ref to get his ass kicked. Might as well get ejected for a good reason.

That's fine, but there a difference between missing say 2 and a bit quarters for an illegal hit and missing the season for twatting an official....

The NCAA already established a rule meant to correct a rule that was a result of their incompetence. I have discussed that ruling several times in the past. This ruling makes no sense, and I have no idea why you can't stop the clock with a spike. I have never heard anyone complain about a spike stopping the clock. Have you?

They still haven't addressed the usual 1-2 secs the clock runs off after an incomplete pass
