I hate Kiffin as much as the next guy but I thnk he made the right move here. They thought theyd have a schollie open, they didnt so they asked the kid to wait til the fall. Other option is to take away a scholarship from a kid already in the program. I think its kind of refreshing to have a coach tell a high ranked recruit that he isnt any more important than the kids you already have.

I can dig that, it just looks like he would have been able to tell him sooner. Unless, of course, Kiffin didn't know until then but that seems far fetched.
