Been a long time since that word meant something. ESPN liked to throw it around about USC but they never had a dynasty. It was all hype bullshit.

Alabama is a dynasty and with Saban at the helm, there is no end in sight. Great defense, steller running game and a QB to manage it all, hasn't really mattered who was at the helm. Same with the running backs. Just one after another, reloading.



Congratulations to the first Dynasty in 20 years.

scary thing about it is, like they mentioned, they are in the midst of this thing, those guys are relatively young still. Last year they lost all their top talent to the NFL, yet they come back this year and do it again. Did Bama go undefeated when they beat Texas in 09? If not, Saban's goal should be to go unbeaten.

in Nebraska's defense, their overall record for their dynasty years is better than Alabama's. Also their '95 team is ranked as the greatest CFB of all time, I don't hear anyone saying any of Bama's title teams is the greatest of all time.

My issue isn't so much Bama's accomplishment, it's how it's being portrayed by disney. I didn't want them to match the 3 out of 4, but they did and I respect that.

There is some solace in that I'm in a city completely run by a catholic university and I don't have to listen to the Notre Dame fans talk shit anymore.

What both teams have done is very impressive but I don't really think you can legitimately compare two teams from two completely different times. The rules, athletes and the sport in general has changed over the last 20+ years so it's hard for to say (for me anyway) who's Dynasty is better. I'm just glad my team is part of argument.
