Pitt Player was accused of misdemeanor charge of simple assault, never Arrested. But he was Kicked off the team just because of an accusation.

Didn't read the articles...so I might be missing something here. But the one kid that did get the boot could have already been on a short leash for other problems that may not have been known by the media. It could have been a "one more strike and you're out" scenario. Never know.

Not necessarily. If they aren't legal problems (which are public record) then it's really no ones business what got them in the dog house to begin with. That is between the coaches and the student athlete. It's not my business if the kid was not showing up to classes, or mouthing off at the coaching staff.
