Gee guys it's a well known opinon that playing in the sec makes you better, A&M is proof. All I wanted was to state how I want OU to play in the sec too so they will play better. Just look how improved a&m is. Put OU in the sec and we would challenge that NCAA record 47 straight wins. According to your logic.

(a) aTm played a hell of a game, and pulled it out against Bama. They didn't do quite as well against Florida and LSU.

(b) I noticed that your Shining Example List didn't include the Missouri Tigers, who went 8-5 overall, (5-4 in the small 12), with wins over Texas and aTm. They're not doing quite so well this year, I noticed: 5-6 overall and 2-5 in SEC play. And lost to Syracuse the other night.

They're headed to a 10 win season the year in which they played the current undefeated #1 team and a 1 loss title contender with only one wide receiver that started last year, a new defense coach who is coaching someone else's players, a young rb core, and a thin offensive line. I spite of all of this they still have a legitimate shot at the conference title and a bcs bowl. Yeah, they're going nowhere. Try again bro.

I can see why you might think that given how you've had to just watch Oklahoma's history of excellence. It seems Oklahoma has raised expectations so high that they perceive a 10 win season as "going nowhere". It's a good problem to have I guess
