Honestly, though. I am NOT looking forward to the media hype if Notre Dame rides it out and gets the #2. BEAR BRYANT! KNUTE ROCKNE! This game means so much more than the average game!

I guess this is how everyone else feels before the Packers and Bears play every year. It isn't NEARLY as bad though.

Didnt waste my time reading entire thread but the title obviously needs to be changed. It says Bama is not on a different tier, but then the whole argument is about how they have played a subpar schedule. There wasnt any argument as to why the BAMA TEAM wasnt any good, but the whole argument was on their competition, a ridiculously pathetic way to make an argument. So either try again based on the merits or change the title and use your brain next time.

What the hell is with Bama fans and reading comprehension? There is a perception that Bama is far and away better than everyone else in college football. This thread was stating that this perception is inflated and untrue because Bama has played poor competition.

I was using that as evidence as to why Bama isn't as dominant as everyone gives them credit for. So maybe they just shouldn't get a free pass into the BCS NC? Probably an unpopular idea, but I'm pitching it.

They are every bit as dominant as they appear, just haven't played a great team to dominate yet. That will happen soon enough.
