Honestly, though, considering that we are being outgained 239-63, we are blessed to be only down three. Our defense has come up big when they had to in order to keep us close.

I still have high hopes for this team, but they need to do something with the O-Line. Havenstein and Matthias/Costigan aren't working on the right side, and it is throwing our offense out of whack.

I gotta go back and look at Smart's rambling speech about how he has been so accurate with his predictions of wiscy's record. Was it 10 or 11 wins this year?

Tell you what though. Unlike certain fans of certain teams around here, I'm going to be realistic about my team. Right now, the division is Illinois' to lose.

Personally I say give Voltz a shot. The kid has balls. No way will he take a whipping laying down like those three are currently. I'm not entirely against giving Burge a shot either. Voltz at RT maybe...Burge at RG? Not sure. I mean obviously the coaches aren't seeing what they want to see from them to give them the start. If they roll out there for the second half though, we probably won't ever see Havenstein again.

11-1. And we can still do it our O-Line can hold their ground for more than a second and a half.

I think Voltz at Center, Frederick at RG, and Burge at RT. What is the worst thing that happens?

The freshman snaps the ball over O'Brien's head for an easy 6?

LOL fair enough.

I hate that I predicted this to be our trap game, but I really was worried that we would just have too many bugs to fix at this point in the year. Being right hurts.

Also, on our one long drive that "sack" on O'Brien (that White recovered) was really a forward pass. We were at the 35, so French would have had an outside chance at making the field goal. Bielema should have challenged and given him a shot. Instead, we wound up with a terrible punt and they got it on the 22 anyways.

Ok, we are fucking lucky to be down by 3 right now. I wasn't expecting the defense to be great but what happened to the O?

Now Abbrederis is out for the game with a concussion. Is it too late to bring back Paul Chryst? Things don't seem to be working out that well for him in Pittsburgh anyway.

edit: 18 yards for OSU on 3rd down. Fucking fantastic.

God, we are awful. Completely blown assignment and then Southward fell down. Time to wake up.

Are we playing down a guy on defense? Is there a new power play rule in college football?

My depth chart would be changing right now if I were BB.
