No idea... listening on the radio. He hit a double (that went off the wall i believe?) and hit a line shot to 3rd.

That said, defensively... he had an error. Had the ball caught...but it fell out of his glove.

Gentry has one start in the last 10 games, yet has managed to score as many runs as Michael Young (3), and has 3 more RBIs than Young (3 to 0)

He looked fine at the plate, but had a bad error in the 6th that eventually led to the Yanks taking a 5-4 lead wth the next hitter

Kinda hard to be consistent defensively if you're only playing twice a week and you're always playing a new position every game when you do\

Not making excuses for dropping a fly ball, but expect defensive lapses from Olt

Before today's start in RF ... in his entire professional career Olt has appeared in RF in 3 games for Frisco and handled a total of 11 chances.

To me that isn't a lot of practice to be then called on to play RF in Yankee Stadium. Don't think very much of TEX efforts to put Olt in spots where he can be confident with success.

We are going to like him very much ... but in the meantime we can expect the sort of haphazard use in the lineup we have seen before.

Olt is supposedly too young to DH ... yet a lessor and younger hitter Julio Borbon appeared in 23 games as the DH in his initial callup in 2009.

Least he didn't get fired into the sun like Alberto Gonzalez was handled.

Yeah and wash comments about young doing something grand for this team, that will highly unlikely happen

I also saw a stat from bbtia it was a comment from there where young has left 203 baserunners on and only driven in 45
