I'm also selling. Alfaro needs more polish and I'm not sure his ceiling is really that high. I believe Texas will resign Naps to a fairly team friendly deal and will trade for or sign another catcher.

To your first part ... don't think the plan is to bring him back to the bullpen but to keep him stretched out at AAA with a plane ticket in his pocket in case he's needed to fill a rotation spot.

If he is brought back to the bullpen ... then I could see Ogando/Feliz setting up Nathan on one night ... and Uehara/Adams setting Nathan up on the other. But you are right he would be prime for the 2 inning stints too. Just not sure that is where they want him right now.

On Hamilton ...

Sell. Based on nothing ... am just not seeing his timing at the point where he goes on a tear. Hope I am wrong. Right now everything depends on Beltre.

Best TEX chance of a 20game winner. Not bad for a guy who before the season guys figured TEX would resign CJ and Darvish would bump Harrison to the bullpen.

Don't need a RH bench bat to replace Snyder cause that bench bat will sit just like has. Nothing wrong with Snyder ... plays 3 positions (which oh by the way is why he is on the roster) ... and he's only had 58ABs (only 17ABs since the end of May).

There was not a bit of criticsm in that statement, I said the only thing I might do to improve the roster is maybe get a better bat off the bench,

its no indictment of what he's done thus far, but he could certainly be improved on I think, but I do like his versatility, and I've actually been a defender of his since ST, but lets face it, he hasn't done anything in a while after some flash in the pan action

Forgot about YT, thats all, plus I don't think the price to pay to improve the backup catcher position is worth paying
