Hahaha. Well, I know you Bruins' fans have a lot of bravado, but I honestly think it's going to be close and that the Caps have a very good chance of pulling it off. We don't have a lot of expectations, and that might actually help the team for once. Bruins have a great team, but if I were y'all, I'd be scurred.

I wouldn't consider the Caps underdogs or a Caps win an upset to be honest. For the 1st time in a while, you have all your star skaters healthy. You do have issues in net, right?

Vokoun is out and Neuvy is recovering (will probably not be ready for close to a week), but it's tough to say.

Holtby is a very confident guy. He actually reminds a lot of people of Kolzig in demeanor and stature. And the guys like playing in front of him because he's very calm and confident on the ice. He's played very well, but he's young. So it's likely to be feast or famine with him. He's been pretty hot lately. If he stays that way, well, young goalies can sometimes carry a team very far. If he falters, obviously, we're in trouble and have few options to go to. So it's a real wild card for us in this playoffs - potentially good and potentially very bad.

But when you're the "underdog," a wild card is not always a bad thing.

honestly, i don't see washington getting out of this series. i might eat my words at the end of it, but as someone who does not particularly like either team, i just think boston has too much for washington. thomas proved last year that he can show up in the playoffs. ovechkin did too, but the rest of his team didn't. boston will be able to shut down ovechkin, and the bruins will win the series.
