What I don't understand about the whole Evander Kane LTIR investigation is what if the Oilers had gone on to win the Cup? It just seems very strange to me that if there was some kind of violation that the Oilers were able to continue playing Kane with no kind of punishment. Maybe the Oilers don't even advance as far as they did in the playoffs without Kane's 12 points (6 goals and 6 assists) in this year's playoffs

As a fan of a team with a goalie who hasn't fully found his way and literally no backup, I am glad the Oilers will be out in the market going after every bad to mediocre goalie so we won't get them.
