so fellow Canadian Hockey fans.... are we going to start a support group to deal with the emotion of the Oilers winning the CUP this year?

Meh, if it happens, it happens. The Oilers were terrible for a decade plus, had 4 first overall draft picks in 6 years and forced the league to change the draft lottery rules due to their ineptitude. They finally hit on a couple of lottery picks and are now contending for the Cup, but no other team is going to benefit from the draft like the Oilers were able to (with the biggest prize obviously being McDavid).

So congrats I guess if you win the Cup, you managed to suck for so long and benefitted from Bettman being asleep at the wheel.
