No, I don’t think that is fair.

There was a very legit chance that the PG trade was going to work out for the Clippers. It clearly didn’t.

But when it was made, there were people on both sides of who was going to win that deal.

The Watson trade (and subsequent contract) I think was pretty clearly bad when it was made.
are you being serious here? PG was already a guy who got hurt a lot while Watson was a guy who had never missed a game due to injury since he was a rookie.

Oh, and Watson was an elite QB in his prime going on the market which didn't happen all that much and why nearly a dozen teams wanted to acquire him. IF Watson played like all those teams expected the Browns would have been happy to pay his contract and likely even more in an extension. No one we gave up in the deal became the MVP of the sport.

Ummmm….

At the time of the trade Watson was mired in scandal and had just sat out the entire previous season.

I remember just about everyone outside Browns fans on here ridiculing the move and the subsequent contract.

That simply was not the case for the PG trade.

Well of course. Who has better knowledge and insight on players, game situations, and overall know how than we do...?

I'm actually surprised that you would even question this... :heh:
I was going to replace Pop in San Antonio but it would diminish the time I can spend here so I had to turn them down.

The way these small market teams like OKC get literally every person in the arena to wear the same shirt...it's almost fascist LOL

Like if that OKC blue was Kim Jong Un's favorite color this game would be a birthday celebration for him. He'd play point guard and score 143 points in 32 minutes, with 57 assists for 312-27 victory.

Bad play by Siakim.

He caught that in plenty of time to get the shot off.
