I guess I'll go to FB and other social media and thank all the vets........ then wait for someone to "correct" me that this day is about the fallen. "It's not Veterans Day!". About 10 years ago or so people started bitching about that here. Hey, how about you just shut the fuck up when someone is trying to be nice, even if they are wrong.

Also maybe if half our holidays didn't end up being about wars, the troops, and-or the vets (and arguing who loves and respects them more) - it would be a lot less confusing for some people

I don't even know how much the colo(u)r factor matters (I mean, it does to some extent sure), but America did twice elect Obama. I truly think there are plenty of Americans who think a woman is too emotional and weak to be president.
