Brunson is a star, but not a superstar.

The difference is that when the average fan goes to see their favorite team play the Knicks, they are going to see the Knicks, not necessarily Brunson.

When that same fan chooses to go see their favorite team play the Bucks, they aren't going to see the Bucks, they're going to see Giannis.

That's basically the difference, imo.

Brunson has pretty much everything set to where he's on the cusp of being a superstar. With their media market, if the Knicks stay this good and Brunson continues to be the driving force...he'll be a superstar soon enough.

Have you seen them interact with each other? They are the greatest teammates in the history of team sports because they enjoy each others company. No team has ever thought to get along with each other and spend time with each other. I don’t know if you fully appreciate how ground breaking that is.

They also make the best commercials in the history of television, no stilted acting or lack of charisma to be found.
