Rules question for you guys

I think I know the answer, just confirming:

2 outs, 3-2 count, a guy is on 3rd base. The hitter strikes out swinging but the ball gets away from the catcher and he succeeds in getting it to first for the out.

Because it was a 3-2 count the runner has a big jump and reaches home before the throw gets to first. It's a run, correct?

Read this wrong at first... Pretty sure if it's a force out at 1st, that 3rd out would negate the run scoring.

The stat is a strikeout, but the scoring is 2-3. It's still a force out.

Now, if the throw was errant and the 1st baseman had to come off the bag and make a tag, that may change the ruling.

Actually Podunk nailed a very subtle but key part of the rule. Tagging a person out is never considered a force out.

Yeah I had it wrong, I had no idea the throw to first after a strikeout was a force out

Brings me back to the Javy Baez play from a few years ago "Keep going! You're invisible" where he stayed in a rundown between home and first, errors were made, runs were scored... And all the first baseman had to do was turn around and step on first at any time.

A long time ago, Kent hrbek struck out but the ball rolled out of the the catcher glove and up to towards the pitcher. Hrbek started like he was gonna sprint to first then turned to the pitcher and started talking shit. The pitcher, with ball in hand walked to the base path and sat talking back. All this time Greg gagne, I think, it was him was slowly trotting from second towards third and then casually walking towards home. The catcher suddenly noticed this and screamed at the pitcher to throw the ball to first. The pitcher, startled, turned to throw but hrbek grabbed his hand before he could throw. Gagne dove in and scored before hrbek tagged himself out. Hrbek grabbed his hand because even if gagne had touched home 5 hours ago, as long as the pitcher just tossed it to first base for the force out, it wouldn't have counted. Hrbek was a dirty ass player but he knew the rules of the game I side and out. He caught people several times with technicalities.
