Feel awful for the kid…..
And there it is
Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
• Placed INF/OF Oswaldo Cabrera on the 10-day injured list with a left ankle fracture.
• Returned INF DJ LeMahieu (#26) from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list.
lmfao
this smells like another one run loss
Bullpen also finds a way to shit the bed, especially these past few weeks. Crazy to think Chapman hasn't played much of a role in that (doesn't have any blown saves), but the middle relief/setup guys can't hold a lead. How many of those blown saves are extra inning losses?
All these are old timers except Judge and Jeter. Pretty crazy Jeter kept his babip average that high for so longJudge already sitting at 3.8 WAR. Closest players are Tatis, PCA and Witt Jr. at 2.5.
Judge won't sustain a .480 BABIP, but he's also a guy with a career BABIP of .351. That's a very high career average and given how often he hits the ball out of the park, he's the kind of player I could see finishing with a BABIP around .400. He has an xBA of .353 and xwOBA of .503, which are career highs.

The Mariners aren't exactly known for making smart baseball decisions.
