Not sure what real NFL fan isn’t dropping everything to check out the first football game of the new season. Not sure why you’re mad when the best thing your squad did this past year was be competitive with the Eagles that one time.

Not mad, seems like a safe pick. I would went a different direction. Maybe Cleveland with Sanders, people would be interested in seeing what he can do. Most people look at this game we will turn it off by halftime because Philly is thst good.

I mean, the Chiefs and Chargers play the day after if you think the Cowboys will be garbage or something

Every year is different in the NFL. Eagles haven’t played a ton of people pre-season the last few years and have started slow because of it.

That should be a good game. The cycle of Justin Herbert should be in the “wow isn’t he great!” position in week 1.

Three more tush-push TDs. Dak leaves field in third quarter with ruptured labia.
I don’t think there will be a Tush Push allowed next year. The Eagles have gotten too good at it and the league won’t have it anymore that one team is essentially an auto convert on 3rd or 4th and 1.

They’re going to ban a play because one team perfects it and turned it into a cheat code.

Yep. You could put Panthers Jags in that slot and it’s going to be a big number.
and you could put Philly-Dallas on a Wednesday afternoon and the number will be big nationally as well. Odds are it's going to be the highest rated Thursday night opener ever...well, at least the first half will be

Was just thinking the same thing about it being the highest rated opener ever. Chiefs vs. Ravens did 28.9 last year, which was the highest ever. Gonna guess this one tops 30+ million.

I'm mildly surprised it's the Boys getting the opening night matchup. It doesn't matter who the opponent would have been, the kickstart to the '25 campaign will draw a huge audience regardless. If I'm the Commish, I would have pocketed the two games when these two face one another until later into the schedule. If they felt an intra-divisional game was essential to start things off, then why not the Commanders? This would have been billed as the battle between last season's NFC finalists. Personally, I thought they'd have gone with the Lions or the Rams for this game.

Commandoskins and Eagles should've been the matchup, but I always enjoy watching the Cowboys get destroyed on national television...

I hope Seattle opens against Washington or Jacksonville. Let's get flying to one of the states at the ass end of the Country out of the way in week 1.
