I get hating your division rivals - I would be happy if the Phillies or Mets sucked - it’s interesting, I kind of like the Marlins and I don’t mind the Nats but I despise the Mets and particularly the fucking Phillies.
That’s because the Phillies are the Braves’ Daddy. When the baseball really counts, the Phillies prevail. No one has owned Atlanta this badly since General William Tecumsah Sherman lit that bitch up like a Christmas tree.

What the hell has happened to the Orioles this year? 10 games under 500, yikes. I thought they were the second best team in the AL East behind the Yankees and would have one of MLBs strongest lineups, but they’ve been pretty terrible.
They didn't do a lot to address the pitching and it's been a dumpster fire. Their offense has also largely sucked, but I expect that to get better at least.

As far as rivals go, I really don't mind the O's. I was really high on them a few years ago and I'm very disappointed with the lack of activity from the front office in regards to updating the roster and extending players. That they haven't extended Rutschman or Henderson is asinine.

I don’t mind the franchise or players. Actually hate the rays much more but the way their fans talked shit on here the last 2 seasons only for this to happen is exactly what they need to remain humble

No disputing that, you guys have owned us when it matters, that 2023 playoff series was crushing for us, I think we had the best team in MLB that season and then we just got dominated by the fucking Phils in the playoffs.

Baseball is crazy. You almost want to avoid having the best team/record in baseball. It feels like that team never wins ha.

That’s interesting, because I think the Dodgers in 2024 and the Astros in 2022 were the best teams in MLB throughout the season and they won the World Series. 2023 was wild, no one saw the Rangers/D-Backs World Series coming, both of those teams just got hot at the right time.

Judge already sitting at 3.8 WAR. Closest players are Tatis, PCA and Witt Jr. at 2.5.

Judge won't sustain a .480 BABIP, but he's also a guy with a career BABIP of .351. That's a very high career average and given how often he hits the ball out of the park, he's the kind of player I could see finishing with a BABIP around .400. He has an xBA of .353 and xwOBA of .503, which are career highs.
