In everything that you do in life "fit" plays a role. That said, I'll counter your assertion with...
If he's a problem why would the Cowboys or any other team want him? Now, you could be right, but there's nothing to support that perspective. In fact, there are plenty of reports contrary to the usual "attack the character," approach.
Not to get too far away from the Pickens conversation, do you remember the foolishness about wearing hats backwards here? Well, maybe the assholes aren't always the players! Here's an excerpt from one of the many reports about Pickens character.
NFL inside Peter Schrager says the Cowboys have nothing to worry about.
“I’ve talked to the Steelers folks. George Pickens is demonstrative on the field, but he is not an un-coachable player," Schrager said on Get Up. "In fact he does have a great way about him in the locker room and is very well liked in Pittsburgh.”
Again, I'll ask, you @deanpet21, could it be that his being demonstrative on the field, doesn't comport with this tight assed, buttoned up, conservative, western Pennsylvanian team?
I went over to the main board, and the Pitt fans are saying he is a locker room cancer and is a head case. Didnt get along with Tomlin. Why would Peters want to bring in someone like that here? Dallas is desperate they took the shot. Of course, he has the talent and could get his head straight.
