Draft date will move to the official clock beginning on the Monday immediately following the NFL draft- just like D2's

NOW- if ya'll wan to have a conversation, entirely separate of that, about the wavier/free agency period which will now begin on the Monday PRIOR to the NFL draft and carry onto the start time of OUR rookie draft, by all means, knock yourselves out. If there's support to change it, by all means, lets have that discussion and maybe change it. Just whatever that ends up being, lets get it decided prior to week 1 beginning, please.

Eh, my feeling is that we shouldn't be able to respond to the NFL draft by picking up non-rookie free agents without a waiver. Once the NFL draft starts everybody should be on waivers, so the Monday before is fine.

So a waiver period beginning on that Monday before the Draft (which starts Thursday) - should the waivers process and have a free agency period before and up to Thursday, or it's ONLY a waiver period, claims can start Monday, waivers process Thursday, then it's shut down until after our rookie draft?

To be clean, I'd put everyone on waivers the day the NFL draft starts and process them that Sunday. Then eighteen hours or whatever of free agency until the time our rookie draft starts, then shut it down until it's over.
