Can’t make a role player beat you in game 7. I rather Steph/Jimmy go for 65 total instead of losing because Buddy had the game of his life

On the road role players tend to struggle in these moments.

The game plan to load up on Steph was fine, but then when Buddy gets going you got to adjust. He is so streaky.

Once he hits his first 2, he needs to be a defensive priority.

And that’s the problem. They didn’t adjust until he made 6. The easy adjustment was to get out of the zone where most his 3s came from

Arguably not even then.

There were a couple plays in the second half where Buddy’s man left him to help.

He is a pretty easy cover for an NBA defender, but if he gets going, you can’t help off. Rockets kept doing that.
