Yep, not mad at all aside from the losing bit lol. To go toe to toe with a good team...
I'm a little mad at JB's adjustments. But that is JB. We wouldn't have even been there without him. But unless he finds an assistant he trusts that can make better between game and especially in-game adjustments he will not be around for the Pistons next step.

The Knicks are just better.. and so is their star player. Coincidentally I was on the phone with my daughter in AZ during their final meltdown last night and we were both watching it.. hers was 90 seconds behind so she had to mute me because I was making a lot of noise about play she hadn't seen yet. lol

Breakdowns on basic fundamental stuff just killed them... couldn't inbound the ball, couldn't block out and rebound a missed foul shot... tossing it away on their last gasp attempt, etc. It was surprising they did as well as they did this series but the future looks promising.

We leave out the part where no Stew, no Ivey.

Trade out Hardaway for a better piece and you got a fucking squad.

The big question going forward isn’t the talent…bc I like their core. Maybe they need one more piece but maybe when Ivey is healthy he “completes” that core.

The question is after JB hits his ceiling…what is the plan. He is a developmental defensive coach. His offensive scheme and in game coaching is not good enough to make a playoff team a great team imo.

The Pistons still need a power forward long term. Tobias is fine for now, but I would love to see him come off the bench and someone else starting.

And I agree with you on JB. Unless he grows or gets trusted assistant to handle the offense and adjustments he’ll have the same fate in Detroit as he did in Cleveland. He’s been great for building up this young, broken team and will be fine for another year or two, but won’t be here much beyond that without changes.
