Well the league has gotten rid of take fouls but I don’t like this loophole where teams can foul on the final possession up by three…

No easy fix to this loophole but a foul in this situation should not benefit the team playing defense.

I think the Knicks should be given the option of declining their FT’s in such a situation.

I think the Knicks should be given the option of declining their FT’s in such a situation.

No team would choose that.

Decline the FTs, other team keeps fouling. Time runs out.

Also, not like it is some impenetrable hack. Make the first, miss the second and they still have to get the rebound.

It's not a loophole. It's just the rule. Intentional fouls by definition are always committed to help the team on defense. Don't get down by 3 with 6 seconds left is the solution.

Brunson was already falling and would have still fallen on his ass had Cade not touched him... which he barely did. No biggie, just sayin... there are several missed and/or bad calls every game... that's just basketball.
